The serial burglar that is believed to hit a Guthrie business and possibly other businesses in other cities has been identified as Charles Edward Rebert.
On Tuesday, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations requested assistance in identifying the suspect from surveillance photographs.
A felony arrest warrant for burglary in the second degree was filed Monday morning in Logan County and charges are pending as the investigation is ongoing in the other jurisdictions.
The suspect is being questioned with burglaries in Blackwell, Wetumka, Okemah, and Calvin, OK as well as in Sherman, TX.
The 42-year-old is accused of breaking into a downtown Guthrie restaurant and taking off with an unknown amount of money.
On Monday, Rebert was arrested by the McIntosh County Sheriff’s Office on an unrelated warrant from Texas.
Rebert was also charged with a misdemeanor on Wednesday for obstructing an officer in McIntosh County. He has pleaded not guilty and given a $1,500 bond.

Rebert is currently being held in the McIntosh County Jail.
