The largest one day number of new positive cases of COVID-19 in Logan County was five on multiple occasions. However, with the latest report on Friday, that number has increased with 10 new cases since Thursday.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health reports Logan County went from 75 total cases to 85.
There are currently 33 positive cases in the county, which is also a one day high. The previous high was on Thursday with 24 active cases.
To date, Logan County has totaled 85 cases with 51 recoveries and one death.
The surrounding area of Guthrie (73044 zip code) has the highest active amount of cases (20) and 52 cases total.
A total of 1,949 Oklahomans have been hospitalized due to the virus with 487 patients are currently in the hospital.
For the state, there have been a reported total of 19,092 cases, including 596 news cases on Friday, with 14,648 recoveries. There were six additional deaths to move the total to 416 statewide.
Health officials said recovered means the patient is not hospitalized or deceased and it has been 14 days since the onset of symptoms or report.
