Santa Claus, crafts, games, goodies and a science guy set the tone for Guthrie Public School’s Winter Family Fun Night.
The school district held the fun night for their pre-kindergarten through sixth grades students, along with their families Tuesday evening at Guthrie Upper Elementary School.
Students were seen visiting with Santa Claus about that big trip later this month as well as each grade represented by school teachers handing out games in the school’s gym.
Inside the cafeteria, crafts were conducted and in the school’s library a mad scientist talked to students about imaginative learning.
The free event had a great turnout despite the cooling temperatures outside.
