The Oklahoma Municipal League (OML) Field Representatives recently held a regional round table meeting in Guthrie. Approximately twelve representatives from five area communities met to discuss issues related to economic development and municipal governance.
OML began the round table meetings a few months ago in an effort to bring community leaders together to discuss common issues and challenges.
“Our goal is for the communities to see the value in meeting together, networking and discussing issues that are important to them. The hope for the round table meetings is for the communities to continue to organize them in the future and meet on a regular basis,” OML Field Representative Daniel McClure said.
Representing Guthrie at the round table was City Manager Leroy Alsup and Councilman Jeff Taylor.
