Updated on September 20, 2021 — Man identified in I-35 fatality crash
Updated at 2:41 p.m. — Interstate 35 southbound at mile marker 157 is open. The roadway was closed for three hours and four minutes.
Motorists should expect delays on Interstate 35 and parts of the Guthrie area following a fatality crash on Interstate 35.
A vehicle (with an out of state license tag) crashed into the back of a semi-truck near the southbound off ramp at mile marker 157 just before 10 a.m. on Friday. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Interstate traffic is now moving in one lane, but slowly. Some motorists are exiting the highway and onto Highway 77 through Guthrie to get back onto the interstate.
Expect delays on both roadways.
