Traffic Alert: I-35 narrows this week in Logan County

If you plan to travel on Interstate 35 in the coming days you may want to plan ahead with your schedule.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) says southbound I-35 will be narrowed to one lane in Logan County in a few locations for surface repairs.

Southbound I-35 will be narrowed at State Highway 33 (mile marker 157) until 6 a.m. on Friday.

Southbound I-35 will be narrowed between Seward Rd. (mile marker 151) and Waterloo Rd. (mile marker 146) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and again from 9 a.m. on Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.

ODOT says motorists are advised to expect delays and congestion in this area and to use extra caution throughout the temporary work zones.

  1. When does the narrowing of Southbound I-35 starting at Exit 157 start? The article states it is narrowed until 6 a.m. on Friday, but no starting date/time is given.
