Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle accident Thursday evening on Highway 105 that resulted in two air ambulances called to the scene.
The Guthrie Fire Department, Meridian Volunteer Fire Department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and Logan County Sheriff’s Department responded just before 6 p.m. to Highway 105 and Indian Meridian Road. Upon arrival, crews found one victim in each vehicle pinned inside.
The air ambulances were called immediately.
Patient information has not been released at this time, but both victims were air lifted to Edmond OU hospital in critical condition. One witness tells Guthrie News Page that neither victim was from the local area.
Highway 105 was closed down in both directions for 43 minutes according to OHP.
OHP has not released an official press release involving the wreck, but a person on the scene says a white, Chevrolet truck ran a stop sign and collided with a Dodge Charger. The impact sent the Charger off the road and just missing a utility pole.
