Two people were found dead inside a vehicle following a fiery crash early Monday morning along Noble Avenue in Guthrie.
The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. near Ritzhaupt Park, located along Noble Avenue between 16th and 17th streets.
The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Noble Avenue when it struck two trees before entering the park. The vehicle came to rest on a concrete area used by skaters and was entangled in chain-link fencing.
Guthrie Fire Department personnel and Guthrie police officers responded to the scene and found the vehicle on fire. Two occupants were discovered inside the vehicle, and there were no survivors.
The identities of the two victims were not released at the scene.
Guthrie investigators were called to the scene as authorities began working to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
