Two suspects attempted to run from Logan County deputies on Thursday afternoon along Division St.
A Logan County deputy made a traffic stop in the 1200 block of S. Division in the old Petty’s convenience store parking lot at around 1:30 p.m. Once in the parking lot, two men took off on foot while two others remained in a four-door, gray Dodge Ram.
The first suspect was taken into custody at the Logan County Fairgrounds within five minutes. The second suspect was apprehended approximately 10 minutes later west of Love’s Country Store.
It was reported the suspects may have warrants for their arrests outside of Logan County.
Meanwhile, the Dodge Ram truck was again spotted at Sonic by a deputy. The truck was later seen pulling onto Division St. and was stopped south of the intersection at Division and Harrison Ave. With weapons drawn, two suspects were handcuffed and detained with no incident.
Traffic was rerouted from the truck, which was sitting in the northbound lane.
While at the scene, deputies were not certain of all the details involved in the case as they continue their investigation.
Guthrie News Page will provide updates on this case as they become available.
