United Way 100% Club and Celebration

As the United Way of Logan County wraps up its annual campaign, Steve Gentling, United Way President announced those businesses which had joined the “100 Percent Club”.

United Way logo“We have had a challenging yet satisfying 2012 Campaign.  One of the things that we asked businesses throughout Logan County to focus on in their employee campaigns was participation” said Gentling.

Krystal Flury, United Way Vice President went on to say, “Our message was that everyone can give something and that businesses should try to make every employee aware of what the United Way does through our 10 partner agencies. We created the “100 Percent Club” to recognize those businesses that had 100% of their employees contributing to the United Way and with their contribution, make a difference in the community, in their county.”

LaVerne Dowding, Campaign Chairman continued “we are so pleased and thankful to recognize the following businesses for achieving 100 Percent status, with all of their employees supporting the United Way and their communities:

Guthrie News Leader              BancFirst                                            God’s Food Bank

Guthrie Vision Source             Converse Surveying and Engineering

F&M Bank                               Environmental Management, Inc

Congratulations to these businesses and all their employees!  Job well done!!

The United Way of Logan County Celebration will be held, Tuesday, February 5th at the Masonic Temple in Guthrie.  The celebration will start at 6 p.m. with dinner catered by Ben Coffin and special entertainment.  Come cheer and celebrate as the amount of funds raised to help support United Way agencies is revealed.  The ticket cost is $15 and can be reserved by contacting Ashleigh Sorrel Rose at (405) 523-3525.
