Steve Gentling, United Way President, announced that on Tuesday, February 5th the United Way will celebrate the end of the 2012 campaign with a special recognition of those individuals and companies who “made a difference” in leading and supporting the campaign.
The festivities kick off at 6 p.m. at the Masonic Temple. Gentling said, “a fantastic meal prepared Chef Don Coffin will be followed by special entertainment, a short recognition of the fantastic efforts made throughout our communities on behalf of United Way and a salute to the 10 partner agencies which provide services to those in need”.
The evening will conclude with the unveiling of the total amount of money raised to “make our communities a better place to live and work”.
The tickets to the Celebration are $15 and can be reserved by calling Ashleigh Sorrell Rose at 523-3525. A few corporate tables are still available. Gentling concluded by say “Come join the Celebration – simple, savory, and short – to be enjoyed by EVERYONE!”
