Steve Gentling, President and Chairman of the Board of the United Way of Logan County announced recently that Donald K. Hardin has agreed to be the Campaign Chair for the 2013 Campaign.
“We are delighted to have Don Hardin, an energetic community leader and longtime supporter of the United Way as our Campaign Chair. He is a native Okie, born in Logan County, and understands the needs of the residents of our communities. Whether wearing the “hat” of a Lion, Rotarian, Arts Council member, Shriner, Church Elder, Boy Scout leader, Chamber President, City Councilman, Mayor, father, or husband, Don’s mantra has always been energized involvement, dedicated commitment and visionary leadership. We are pleased he is on the United Way Team!”
When asked about the United Way , Don noted, “you never how or when you will be touched by the United Way and the agencies it supports, but more than likely it will touch most of us at some point in our lives. Directly or indirectly, the United Way will impact us in some way. It is a special organization with a mission to make our communities stronger, to help our county residents maximize their lives, and to make a difference in our county. I am proud to be a part of the 2013 Campaign.”
Jessica Eaves, United Way Coordinator for Logan County, remarked, “Don Hardin is a dynamic leader in our county and has a tremendous history of community involvement. He is a change agent and makes good things happen. He will be a wonderful and positive force for the campaign!” Don, is Vice President of the Guthrie Lending Team at Oklahoma State Bank. He and his wife LaMoyne, have three sons: Patrick, Andrew and Donovan; and a daughter Angela.
