At the present time (Sunday at 1:30 p.m.), the Cottonwood Creek continues to rise, but does not appear it will be an issue in regards of coming out of its banks.
On Broadway, at 12:45 p.m., the creek measured 23.66 feet. The previous reading at 11:45 it measured at 23.30 feet.
Flood stage at the Broadway location is 30 feet.
“It’s still coming up, but not fast,” according to Logan County Emergency Manager David Ball. “(It’s) all subject to change.”
Highway road closures in Logan County as of 11 a.m. Sunday:
US-77 is closed at the Cimarron River three miles north of Guthrie
US-77 is closed eight miles south of SH-51 near Mulhall.
SH-74F is closed between Cashion and SH-33 due to pavement damage.
SH-74 is closed three miles south of SH-51 at Skeleton Creek.
