Original Story

A man and a woman were taken to a Oklahoma City hospital following a motorcycle accident along Highway 33 on Friday afternoon.

Emergency crews were dispatched at 3:03 p.m. to a single motorcycle accident on Highway 33 just west of Westminister Road.

A male victim was transported by air ambulance and a female was transported by Guthrie EMS ambulance. Both were taken to OU Medical Center.

Eastbound traffic was shut down for 15 minutes to allow the helicopter to land on the highway.

No details were released at the scene, but appears speed may have played a role in the accident. Approximately 20 yards of barb wire fence was taken out and a metal building received damage.
