Vehicle t-boned after failing to yield on S. Division

Guthrie emergency crews responded to S. Division Monday afternoon for a two-vehicle accident in front of a health care facility.

The police and fire department responded to the 2900 block of S. Division in front of the Mercy Clinic just before 1:30 p.m.

Officers say a gray Honda Accord failed to yield to oncoming traffic while exiting the health care facility and was t-boned by a Nissan Titan, who was travelling southbound on Division St.

The Accord took a direct hit on the driver’s side of the vehicle and upon impact the vehicle’s side airbag deployed.

Luckily, neither driver reported any injuries and refused medical transport at the scene.

In a separate incident from the wreck, one person was arrested at the scene for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.

All three vehicles were towed from the scene.
