A fire sprinkler line busted inside the historic Blue Belle Saloon late Friday afternoon resulting in major water damage.
A citizen happened to notice the water rushing down from the ceiling onto tables, lights and the bar. Ultimately, the water collected in puddles on the floor.
The busted line, in multiple locations, was found on the building’s second floor.
Two Guthrie police officers were able to make their way into the building, located at 224 W. Harrison Ave., and were able to locate the turn off valve after several minutes of water pouring into the building.
City crews later made their way to the location to turn the water completely off.
The building is currently vacant.
