Logan County commissioners held their regular scheduled meeting for a short agenda. Commissioners are close in making the courthouse annex building handicap friendly with power doors.
Commissioner Marven Goodman spoke of adding handicap accessible doors at the north and south doors of the annex building, that is across the street from the Logan County Courthouse, along with the conference room in the Jan. 30 meeting. The item is expected to be further discussed and possible action at the Feb. 13 meeting.
In other action, Commissioners approved to surplus a truck vault cargo box, owned by the Sheriff’s Office, and donate it to the Newcastle Police Department.
