Before Generations Church was a church, they were a feeding program for Banner School. Through the church’s Hungry Hearts program, a food distribution will be held each month.
Operation Blessing opened a major distribution center for donated food and relief supplies in Grand Prairie, Texas. Church officials made the road trip on Wednesday to pick up the food items.
The first food distribution for Generations Church will be Saturday, June 1.
The distribution center will be behind the church at 2524 W. Noble Ave. The drive through pick up line will operate from 9 – 11 a.m. while supplies last.
Pastor Josh Seabolt encourages those to get in line early.
The program is open to anyone in need from Guthrie or the nearby surrounding areas and there is no pre-registration or requirements needed to receive the food.
“We will have one to two boxes of food per family depending on the family size,” Seabolt said.
