Guthrie Public Schools recognized their support and certified employees of the month for the first time in the 2015-16 school year.
Asst. Supt. Dennis Scultz nominated and presented Vicki Biggs as the Support Employee of the Month. Biggs serves as the encumbrance clerk.
Charity McPeek, who serves as the high school discipline secretary, nominated and presented Sonya Arnold as the Certified Employee of the Month. Arnold works as the high school occupational therapist.
The Guthrie Lions Club donated $25 Sonic gift cards to each recipient.
