Video: Two people suffer multiple gunshot wounds following shooting in Langston

Updated at 11:45 a.m. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the shooting investigation.

OSBI says one of the two people who were shot was a student and the other a non-student (guest).

The suspects fled the scene and are not believed to be in the area at this time.

OSBi says based on the evidence available, they are confident that this was an isolated incident and do not believe that any other members of the campus community are in harm’s way related to the shooting at this time.

Updated at 8 a.m. — Investigators are on the look out for a black late 1990’s model two-door coupe with nice rims. There are four possible suspects, including three black males and one white male.

Officials also say a silver newer model Chevrolet Impala may have also been involved in the shooting.

Campus police with Langston University are investigating a shooting that has left two people with multiple gunshot wounds. The event took place early Thursday morning.

Just after 1:30 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the Langston Commons Apartments for the shooting.

Once at Building 6C, two people were found with multiple gun shot wounds. Coyle and Guthrie fire departments treated the victims, who were later taken by two medical helicopters to a Oklahoma City hospital.

Many students watched as the helicopters landed and took off from from Sammy Davis Jr. Drive.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the search of attempting to find the suspects.

Guthrie News Page has learned there may be up to four suspects, but so far there has been no arrests and no suspects taken into custody.
