Guthrie High School’s football program celebrated five standout athletes who signed their letters of intent to continue their football careers at the collegiate level.
The signing day ceremony took place inside the GHS gymnasium, where Head Coach Kelly Beeby introduced each player and highlighted their contributions to the Bluejays’ successful season and their career.
Surrounded by family, friends, teammates, coaches, and classmates, these five Bluejays took the next step in their athletic and academic journeys:
- Kolten Carlock – East Central University (Ada, OK)
- Alfred Officer – Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College
- Blake Doles – Simpson College
- Landon Gilbert – Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College
- Samaje Morgan – Ottawa University
Coach Beeby praised the group not only for their performances on the field but also for their leadership and work ethic. Each player played a crucial role in Guthrie’s success, and their efforts earned them the opportunity to compete at the next level.
The Guthrie community has long been known for its support of student-athletes, and the signing day event was a proud moment for everyone involved.
