Byron and Bette Berline and their family suffered a tragic loss of The Double Stop Fiddle Shop to fire in late February 2019.
As they move forward with a new location in downtown Guthrie, Byron continues to play as often as he can. Their love for the Lord, for each other, for their community, and for the music weaves a melody that sweetly balms the harshness of loss.
On May 7, 2019 at the historic Scottish Rite Temple in Guthrie thousands enjoyed music from legendary artists Vince Gill, Larry Gatlin, the Byron Berline Band, and the Turnpike Troubadours. This was a night to remember the past, look forward to the future, and most of all—celebrate the music that will never die.
