The Guthrie boys basketball team practice’s must not be up to par in the last few weeks according to fellow 5A coaches? The Jays were pre-season ranked No. 8, but dropped to No. 10 last week and now are currently ranked No. 11th in the latest polls.
Okay, maybe other teams already have two-to-six games they played and the Jays have yet to hit the game floor. The Lady Jays remain unranked this season, but both Guthrie teams will have their chance this week with conference games with Shawnee and Western Heights.
The coaches rankings are what determine regionals and seedings.
