Willow Creek nominated for Commitment to Quality award

Willow Creek Administrator Laura Dutton and members of her staff accept the nomination for the Commitment to Quality Award.

GUTHRIE – Willow Creek Health Care has been nominated for the Commitment to Quality award presented by Care Providers Oklahoma, an association representing nursing home residents and staff.

The award recognizes a facility that has adapted and overcome the challenges of COVID, found innovative ways for staff/residents/families to maintain communication and/or strengthen relationships and improved a facility process or outcome (weight loss, pressure ulcers, etc.), despite challenges that were faced.

“This has been such a challenging time for nursing home residents and staff, but what we have seen time and again is the ability to meet new challenges head on and find ways to thrive” said Care Providers Oklahoma President and CEO Steven Buck.

“Facilities like these don’t make excuses; they solve problems. Congratulations to their ownership, employees and residents for being nominated for this honor.”

Previously the Oklahoma Association of Health Care Providers (OAHCP), Care Providers Oklahoma represents the interests of more than 18,000 residents and 19,000 professionals that work in Oklahoma’s long-term care facilities, including nursing homes, assisted living homes and intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
