Summer is almost here and local children will be looking for some fun in the sun and what could be better than a dip in the city pool?

The City of Guthrie announced that the pool, located in Highland Park, will open for summer on Saturday, June 15.
The pool will continue to have the same hours from a season ago. Monday through Thursday 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a sponsor over the age of 16 with a valid driver’s license.
Admission is $3 for children and adults.
The local YMCA is once again managing the pool.

It would be nice if they offered a seasonal membership to Guthrie residence.
