An Elk City woman is facing five charges after she was formally arraigned in Payne County following Tuesday’s pursuit that came zooming into Guthrie.
Kareena Michelle Jackson, 35, was charged with attempting to elude, operating a motor vehicle while driver’s license was revoked, obstructing an officer, unlawful possession of a controlled drug and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jackson was taken into police custody after she led several surrounding law enforcement officers on a high speed pursuit throughout Payne and Logan County.
With speeds reaching over at times 100 mph, Jackson eventually lost control and crash near downtown Guthrie. Related article: Video: High speed chase zooms through Guthrie
She was given a $25,000 bond and a next court date of August 4.
