3 COVID related deaths reported in Logan County

There were 47 additional COVID related deaths on Friday in Oklahoma, including three in Logan County.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health says two of the Logan County deaths were females and all three were categorized in the 65 or older age group.

With the additional deaths, the death toll now stands at 20 for the county.

With the latest report, the number of confirmed, active cases has come down. OSDH reports there are 376 cases.

In total for the county, there has been 3,402 active cases and 3,006 recoveries.

A total of 365,992 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the total number of virus-related deaths increased to 3,187, the state health department said on Friday.

The seven-day rolling average for new cases reported was 2,564.

As of Friday, 278,151 vaccine doses have been administered and 490,775 doses have been received by the state. More than 35,800 Oklahomans have completed both inoculations.
