The Grand Ole Barbershop celebrated Independence Day with its 5th annual Freedom Ride on Thursday morning, drawing a record-breaking crowd to this cherished community event.
The family-friendly two-mile ride began at the Masonic Temple and concluded at the Grand Ole Barbershop in downtown Guthrie.
Participants of all ages came out in full force, proudly donning their best red, white, and blue attire to show their patriotic spirit. The event offered a fun and healthy activity for families and fostered a sense of community and togetherness.
Following the ride, attendees enjoyed a delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and bacon, with the grills working overtime to accommodate the increased number of participants. This year’s turnout was nearly triple that of the previous year, showcasing the event’s growing popularity and the community’s enthusiasm for celebrating the 4th of July together.
Mark your calendars for next year’s Freedom Ride, and don’t miss out on the chance to be part of this growing tradition.
