The Guthrie Police Department is investigating possible embezzlement at a local business and a 9-year-old girl is trying to help her mom recover the stolen money.

Police officials were called out to Artistic Tile and Marble, located at 4203 S. Division, for possible theft. The reporting party claims employees have been pocketing cash from sales for about a year.
While the police department continues to investigate the case, the business owner’s daughter is trying to help her mommy with an open letter to the public.
In a multi-color note filled with hearts and emotion, Ava asks customers from the past year to come forward if they paid cash for their merchandise.
“Please help my mommy. Employees were taking cash from customers and not depositing it,” Ava says in the letter.
