BancFirst Guthrie named Bank of the Year at annual awards ceremony

BancFirst Guthrie was named the 2021 Bank of the Year at BancFirst’s annual Presidents’ Council Awards Banquet held in Oklahoma City on April 11, 2022. BancFirst Guthrie president LaVerne Dowding accepted the Bank of the Year Award on behalf of the employees.

Presidents from BancFirst communities around the state attended the annual event held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Oklahoma City.

The Bank of the Year is awarded to the bank that is the standard-bearer for BancFirst in return on equity, classified assets to capital, classified assets to total loans, net income growth, loan growth, and deposit growth.

“We are honored to be awarded Bank of the Year again this year,” remarked Dowding. “We take pride in the quality services we provide while maintaining the integrity on which BancFirst is founded. This is a well-deserved recognition for our employees and their continued dedication to our community.”
