Following an exciting run to the state championship game, the Guthrie Bluejay Football program is again preparing to welcome the next generation of athletes with their 24th Annual Jr. Jays Camp.
Led by Head Coach Kelly Beeby and his coaching staff, the camp will take place May 13 and 14, with May 15 set aside as a weather make-up day. The camp will be held at the Bluejay Practice Field and is open to young athletes eager to build their football fundamentals in a fun and organized environment.
Check-in time will be from 3:30 – 4 p.m., with camp starting at 4 p.m. and ending at 5:45 p.m. each day. Cost is $25 and checks can be made out to Guthrie Football Camp.
“We are excited about the 2025 season ahead,” said Coach Beeby. “My staff and I look forward to working with the fine young athletes of Guthrie. This camp has become a great tradition, and we look forward to seeing everyone in May.”
The registration deadline is April 25, 2025, but walk-up registrations on the first day of camp are welcome. A second T-shirt order will be made for late entries.
Campers should come prepared with shorts, a T-shirt, and athletic shoes. Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt and drinks will be provided during the sessions.
The Jr. Jays Camp continues to serve as a cornerstone event for the Guthrie football program, promoting growth, fundamentals, and Bluejay pride in a positive and enthusiastic setting.
