Brothers and Tigers seal the deal

There was not much built up drama  on National Signing Day for Guthrie High School senior Kentrell Brothers, but it’s “finally over”.

Brothers made his college football choice official when he inked his deal to play for the Missouri Tigers. Brothers first gave his oral commitment to the Tigers back on November 10th. Photo Gallery

Brothers had 63 catches for school-record 1,304 yards and 18 TDs to help the BlueJays reach the 5A semifinals for the second straight year. On defense, he had 100 tackles and finished his career with 160 catches, 3,029 receiving yards, 40 TDs, 285 tackles and 51 sacks.

The play maker has been named to every prestigious list in the state including Oklahoma Coaches Association All State team, Oklahoman and Tulsa World All State teams, and was named the state’s defensive player of the year.
