Devonte McCully made his college choice official Wednesday morning with the East Central Tigers in Ada.
McCully, who was named to the 2011 Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State football team, became Guthrie’s 32nd athlete to the All-State team and was also selected to play for Oklahoma in the annual Oil Bowl with Texas.
“I’m so proud of Tae. He deserves it,” Guthrie head football coach Rafe Watkins said.
The 6’6 wide out brought in 38 catches with 10 of those for touchdowns to go with 720 yards. McCully forced opponents to give him as much attention as they were giving to Kentrell Brothers. A season ago, McCully had 12-catches, 140 yards, and three scores.
