Mercy Hospital Logan County’s emergency department is focused on providing the best care possible for Guthrie and its surrounding communities. And their focus is paying off. A recently released study of the department reveals improvements in all areas surveyed – including wait times and overall quality of care.

Around 2 a.m. Monday, Mercy Hospital Logan County co-workers were draining an instrument they use to run tests (like glucose, liver panels, kidney, etc.) in the lab. Because of a backed-up pipe, chemicals leaked onto the lab floor.
The Logan County Health Department announced today its seasonal influenza vaccination clinic schedule for the upcoming flu season. Clinics will begin Monday, October 1. Clinic days and times are as follows: Monday – Friday, 8 -11:15 a.m. and 1-4:15 p.m.

Mercy’s electronic health record (EHR), called Epic, launched at midnight Saturday, connecting the hospital to 24 other Mercy hospitals, and countless clinics – including all four Mercy Clinics in Guthrie and Crescent, on the EHR.
