Center for Business Development at Meridian Technology Center open house; Public invited to visit with entrepreneurs and tour facility on April 7

STILLWATER, Okla. – The success of entrepreneurs comes from deep within. For most of them, it started with an idea. That idea turned into a dream. With a lot of hard work, that dream has turned into a reality.

On April 7 from 3:30 – 5:30 pm the public is invited to meet entrepreneurs who are behind the ideas growing in the Center for Business Development at Meridian Technology Center. Guest can visit with tenants, tour their companies and learn more about the impact of entrepreneurship across the Meridian district and the state.

“Great ideas have become viable businesses for our tenants. These entrepreneurs have met a need in their respective industries and created jobs for our community. We want to celebrate them and hopefully encourage someone else to pursue their dream,” said Ron Duggins, Director of the Center for Business Development.

Tenants participating in the open house include Billy Goat Ice Cream, Holy Cow Couture, Impact Management Consulting, MaxQ, Roll-2-Roll Technologies, RPX Technologies, WayLink Systems and XploSafe. More information on the companies can be found at meridiantech.edu/cbdopenhouse.

Business incubation is a business support process that accelerates the successful development of startup companies. Critical to the operation is management guidance, technical assistance and consulting tailored to young companies.

The Center for Business Development is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs through networking, education, consulting and business incubation services. Meridian Technology Center is a career and technology training center located in Stillwater, Okla.
