Central Christian Camp hosting mud run; funds to help multi-purpose building

Time to get ready to play in the mud and at the same time help the Central Christian Camp (CCC) raise proceeds for the Make Promises Happen program. CCC is hosting the Like A Boss Mud Run on April 17.

The course will have at least 12 obstacles spread across a combination of open fields, groves of trees and creeks. The course covers over 150 acres of Central Christian, which is located just south of Guthrie.

CCC is a not for profit recreation facility and home to the Make Promises Happen (MPH). MPH is Oklahoma’s only camp and travel program for individuals, ages 6 and older, with special needs.

Competitors may register for team events, including Team Mud Run (four-person race, must have at least one female), Team Fun Run (four-person race, must have at least one female).

Individual races include men’s and women’s competitive mud fun and individual fun run.

The venue is located at 1 Twin Cedar Lane. For additional information, including registration and pricing, visit the official mud run page.

At over 30 different events each year, MPH reaches over 10,000 people annually and helps to provide outdoor recreational opportunities to individuals regardless of their ability.

All money raised will go to building a new multi-purpose building on site at Central Christian Camp. The new building will include a full length indoor basketball court, classrooms for small groups, a full service kitchen and a storm shelter.
