Hello! Friday, January 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. God’s Food Bank is having their annual fundraiser. They will be serving Chili, Beans and Cornbread with sweets. They will also have a silent auction; tickets are available at the First Presbyterian Fellowship Hall the day of the event.

The Lazy E is hosting the annual Kicker Arena Cross Nationals and Mud Bog Show, January 17 and 18. You can purchase tickets online at lazye.com

Martin Luther King Day is approaching, the 19th of January. The parade will start at the Scottish Rite Temple and end at the Santa Fe Depot. A reception will be held at the Logan County Fairgrounds after the parade. Everyone is welcome to attend! If you would like to be in the parade contact Hersey Hammonds at 760-4285 for a parade form.

Join St. Mary’s Lady Royals as they host teams from around the region in their annual Hoops Tournament! Play will begin after school on Thursday and Friday, January 22-24. It is loads of fun so bring the family and enjoy! St. Mary’s is located at 502 E. Warner. For more information contact Jacque at 282-2071.

January 30-31 catch the No Limits Monster Trucks Winter Nationals along with the Hot Rod Truck and Tractor Pull at the Lazy E Arena! Tickets are available online at www.lazye.com.

It’s almost time for the annual Ground Hog Dinner and Silent Auction hosted by the First United Methodist Church! February 5th at the Fairgrounds building, lunch will be served from 11am to 1 pm and dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the church at 282-4297.

The Territorial Capital Sports Museum invites you to a luncheon to Honor the 2014 Oklahoma Sports Historian of the Year! Edgar L Frost, author of Port Robertson: Behind the Scenes of Sooner Sports will be honored February 11th from 11:30 – 1pm. The Territorial Capital Sports Museum is located at 315 W. Oklahoma Avenue. Tickets are $25 or $150 for a table of seven. Tables are limited, please call 260-1342 or email oklasportsmuseum@sbcglobl.net. Sponsored by John Vance Motors and Billy Sims Barbeque.

The Chamber Coffee is a great way to network and meet new people. Next week’s Chamber Coffee, January 21st will be hosted by the Guthrie Fire Department! They are located at 209 E. Springer.
