Friday, June 5 at 7 p.m. in the middle of the Wentz and Oklahoma, Guthrie will be getting weird again! Moongiant along with Chase Kerby and the Company Men will be performing! You will find more information on Facebook under Make Guthrie Weird. We hear that there will be Rainbow Girls swarming around at the Block Party. Greet them warmly and let them know that we are happy to have them visiting! Some of the Farmer’s Market folks will be on hand at the Block Party to give you a sneak preview of what will be available at the market on Saturday. The Farmer’s Market and Antique and Vintage Market will kick off the market season officially on Saturday morning at 8. Come check it out! Saturday night Byron Berline will be having a concert at the Double Stop Music Hall at 7:30. If you are looking for a good time, you can find it in Guthrie next weekend!
The Logan County Health Department is having free CPR & First Aid Classes at Guthrie Housing Authority located at 1524 East Perkins, June 5 from 9 to 3:30 p.m. You can enroll in the class by calling 282-3485 or emailing HeatherW@health.ok.gov.
Silverleaf Shotgun Sports LLC will host the 2015 Oklahoma Sporting Clays Championship June 10-14. This event will draw over 250 participants from around Oklahoma and surrounding states. In the Shooter’s Hospitality Area we would like to highlight Guthrie businesses with flyers, brochures, coupons, menus, etc..
