City of Guthrie’s City Clerk/Utility Office closed until Nov. 16

Due to COVID, the City of Guthrie City Clerk/Utility Office will be closed until 8 a.m. on Monday, November 16.

The employees of the City Clerk/Utility Office were exposed to an individual that tested positive for COVID-19, according to City staff.

All employees in that office are under quarantine for a 14 day period. During this period, no payments can be processed at the utility window on the 2nd floor of Guthrie City Hall.

In lieu of making utility bill payments on the second floor of Guthrie City Hall, customers are encouraged to make check, money order, or cash payments through the night drop or by mail.

Card payments can also be made through the City Website at www.cityofguthrie.com

During this closure, City of Guthrie will postpone cutting off water service for customers unable to pay their bills. Further, there will be no disconnection or late penalties applied to anyone’s bill during this time period and extensions will not be required.

Municipal Court Docket

The November 4, 2020 Municipal Court Docket is cancelled. Cases scheduled for arraignment, hearing, and trial will be rescheduled.

The Municipal Judge shall issue an order rescheduling cases and the Municipal Court Clerk shall provide notification of the new court date by Monday, November 16.

If you are not been contacted by November 16, it is your responsibility to contact the Court Clerk’s office at 405-282-0065 prior to the end of the day on Monday, November 16.

If you are wishing to make a traffic payment please use the City’s night drop box located just inside the north door at City hall. You may use cash, check, cashier’s check or money order.
