Jeff Chappell, Companion CEO noted, “We had a wonderful and spirited campaign this year that involved all 335 employees. We are in a service business and contributing to the United Way is another way of providing needed services to the residents of Logan County. I am proud of all the employees who made our campaign such a resounding success.”

One of the highlights of the campaign was a “KISS the PIG” contest. Laura Meyer, Campaign Chair said, “Employees bought tickets to “vote” for the person who would “win” the opportunity to kiss the pig.  It was great fun and can you believe it, we had a tie in the “voting”. It seems that Chappell, Donna Bennett, Phyllis Bagwell, Joe Chappell, Tammy Williams and Laura Dunn all tied —- amazing results.  I’m not sure the pig was so happy though.”

The end result of all the campaign activities was a contribution of $6,078, one of the largest business campaign results in Logan County.

Jessica Eaves, United Way Coordinator for Logan County remarked, “They have so much fun and have such a positive approach to their campaign. The positive attitude of all the leaders at Companion Health Care spreads throughout the entire organization and is clearly reflected in the results of the campaign. The employees of this organization certainly make a difference in our communities and county.”
