Crescent house fire claims lives of three children

Updated at 4:40 p.m. – A third child was found inside the home after firefighters were able to search the home.

Assisting the Crescent police and fire departments were the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Marshall Fire Department and the Guthrie Fire Department.

A house fire in Crescent has sadly claimed the lives of two, and maybe three small children, according to multiple sources.

Guthrie News Page has learned that a three-year-old and two-year-old died in the fire, while a five-month-old baby is also believed to have perished but has not been confirmed at this time.

Emergency crews were called out to the home early Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Jackson St. and Oak St.

The Oklahoma State Fire Marshal is on the scene to begin the investigation.

More to come with this deeply sad situation.
