Deputies on the lookout for missing juvenile with medical needs

UPDATE 10-15-14 at 7:30 — Missing juvenile, Trance Rodenbough, from Logan County was located in Edmond near I-35 and 15th Street in Edmond this morning at 7 a.m.

Deputies with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office took a runaway report this morning. Now, they are looking for Trance Rodenbough,15, who ran away early Tuesday morning. He went missing and was found days later in a similar situation earlier this year.

“Trance is type 1 diabetic and that he did not take any of his medication with him. Trance had been having recent issues with his blood sugar spiking and at the advice of his doctor; he was removed from school until the situation could be controlled,” Chief Deputy Richard Stephens said.

It is believed that Trance is wearing a grey camouflage hoodie, blue jeans and black tennis shoes. He also has a dark brown shoulder bag and skateboard with him.

Trance ran away from his residence in February of this year and was located several days later in the Waterloo Rd. Baptist Church. He was in need of immediate medical attention due to his condition. Related story: Juvenile reported missing; deputies need your help

  1. You know, this child has run away more times than I can count…can we have an investigation on the parents to figure out WHY yet? Or…are we just going to keep ignoring the FACT that there must be a reason!?
