Female ejected from vehicle on I-35 rollover accident

A 22-year-old was air lifted to a Oklahoma City hospital on Tuesday after she was ejected from her vehicle on Interstate 35.

A Logan County deputy was the first on the scene of the rollover accident near the Logan and Payne county line shortly before 2 p.m.

A crash report states Serena N. Keating, of Edmond, was driving southbound in a 1999 GMC Yukon when the vehicle departed the roadway to the right from the exit ramp and rolled down an embankment.

The vehicle rolled an undetermined amount of times coming to a rest on the passenger side.

Troopers report Keating was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected approximately 10 feet from the vehicle.

With aid from the deputy, Guthrie EMS provided further medical treatment until a medical helicopter could arrive. She was transported to OU Medical Center and admitted in stable condition with arm and trunk injuries.

The cause of the collision is listed as inattention/distraction.
