Logan County’s First Capital Republican Women hosted the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women on Saturday, March 1 for their Winter Board of Directors meeting at the American Legion in Guthrie.
Friday’s activities included an Executive Committee meeting, followed by a social to welcome the out-of-town visitors. The Board consists of the elected Officers of the OFRW, all Club Presidents and committee chairmen.
Speakers at the event included OFRW President Pam Pollard, and Matt Pinnell, State Party Director for the Republican National Committee.
The 73 attendees came from all over the state, representing 30 clubs, and over 1300 members. The First Capital Republican Women’s Board consists of Jennifer Bennett-Johnson, President, Carol Cline, 1st Vice President; Linda Bryan, 2nd Vice President; Jeannine Long, Secretary; and Troy Cole, Treasurer.
The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Pizza Hut located at Noble and I-35 (218 Heather Road, Guthrie), with a social hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
