Touch the Trucks returns May 18 with family fun

Mark your calendars for a day of fun, food, and community connection! The Touch the Trucks: Family Fun and Safety Fair returns to Guthrie on Sunday, May 18, from 12 to 3 p.m. at Meridian Technology Center on S. Division St.

This free, family-friendly event offers a unique mix of indoor and outdoor activities designed for all ages. From firetrucks and police cruisers to food trucks and crafts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Outdoors, attendees can explore a variety of emergency and specialty vehicles, meet first responders, and take part in hands-on activities. Indoors, more than 40 local and state agencies will provide valuable information on crime prevention, victim advocacy, health services, education, and community support.

The event will also feature games, giveaways, and crafts, along with an indoor blood drive, giving attendees the chance to help save a life while enjoying the festivities.

Touch the Trucks is hosted by the Guthrie Police Department, Guthrie Fire Department, Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Oklahoma State Department of Health, Connecting the Community, and the Logan County Coordinated Community Response Team.
