The Fogarty Elementary Honor Choir will be caroling December 1st in downtown Edmond for The Downtown Edmond Association’s Annual Dickens’ Weekend. The students will be dressed in period costumes while singing Christmas Carols for the merchants in Edmond from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Later that afternoon, the Honor Choir will come back to Guthrie to carol at the Logan County Fairgrounds for Fogarty’s Annual Arts and Crafts Show. The Craft show is Fogarty’s largest fundraiser of the year with the funds going directly back into the classrooms.
December 8 and 15, the Honor Choir will be caroling for Guthrie’s Victorian Walks held in downtown Guthrie.
On December 13 the Honor Choir will be performing at Guthrie’s Retired Teacher’s Assc. Christmas Luncheon, for the residents of the Golden Age Nursing Home, and the residents of Colonial Estates Nursing Home.
December 20 the Honor Choir will also be performing for the All-School Christmas Choral Concert at the Masonic Temple, along with choirs from all the schools in town.
“It is a busy time of year, but a fun-filled time of year. I am so pleased that we can be an active part of community activities and organizations,” Director Chris DiGiovanni said.
