Full-service floral business to soon open in downtown

Downtown Guthrie continues its revival with the addition of a full-service floral business.

Longtime Guthrie resident and business owner, Melynn Robbins, along with her daughter, Ryan Crockett, will be opening Cottage Floral Flower Bar + Gifts at 108 N. Wentz, just across the street from Wanderfolk Spirits.

Melynn and her husband Seth owned and operated Vic’s Place, an antique e-commerce company until 2008.  After selling that company, they co-founded Terra Insure Group and continue to operate it today.

The mother-and-daughter duo are currently acquiring fixtures, appliances, supplies, and inventory and hope to open their doors in the next two to three months.

The shop will offer traditional floral services and delivery, but will also offer a Flower Bar. Individuals or small groups of people gather around design tables, in a fun setting, to create flower arrangements that they ultimately take home.

Cottage Floral will also carry carefully selected gift items to be purchased separately or combined with their floral deliveries.

You can keep up with their progress towards opening by following them on Instagram @cottagefloralshop
