Days before the high school basketball season starts for the Guthrie boys basketball team, the basketball booster club will host a clinic and three scrimmages inside the Guthrie High School gymnasium.
On Dec. 5 beginning at 4 p.m. the seventh and eighth grade teams will combine to scrimmage. Soon after, a one hour clinic will be held for students between first and sixth grade.
Afterwards, the the freshman will scrimmage the junior varsity and finishing the evening will be a varsity scrimmage.
Tickets are $5 for 10 years and older. Concessions will be made available with all proceeds benefitting the basketball program.
The Bluejays and Lady Jays will tip the season off with an away contest at Carl Albert on Dec. 8
