Guthrie High School’s Youth in Government students recently took part in their state convention and came away with high accolades.
Advisor and GHS history teacher Kim Barrett said the Guthrie delegation was named one of five Premier Delegations out of approximately 30 competing schools over the three-day convention.
The attorney team of Heidi Kuruvilla and Ryan Medina took their case all the way to the Supreme Court before dropping their final case.
Print Media delegate, Morgan Sorrell, was awarded “Best Print Media Article” for her outstanding interview with Rep. Jason Murphey.
