GHS softball to host golf tournament for fundraiser

The Guthrie Lady Jays softball team has announced their golf tournament as a fundraiser for the program.

Head Coach Lee Linsenmeyer announced the Guthrie Lady Jays Golf Tournament will be set for March 31 at Aqua Canyon, located at Cimarron National Golf Course, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Each team comprised of four golfers will play in a scramble format. The cost per team is $200 and includes each golfer’s green fee and cart.

Linsenmeyer said they will have different competitions, including longest drive and closest to the pin.

Businesses or individuals can be a hole sponsor which falls under four different categories: gold, silver, bronze and friends.
